Diocese of Portland Maine Cursillo Movement  1-17-2010

Through this website the Secretariat and the School of Leaders will bring up to date information on the Cursillo Movement.

Tens of thousands of Catholics throughout the world have Lived Cursillo. The name "Cursillo" is Spanish, meaning the "Short Course."

This is a short course in Catholic Christianity for adults.

During these three days, those attending listen to talks given by clergy and laity. They also share the Eucharist and pray together.

Cursillo Weekend Dates as follows:

Men  April 29- May 2 2010    Women  May 20-23 2010

Men Oct 28-31 2010   Woman  Dec 2-5  2010

The weekends start with check in between 6:30 - 7:30 on Thursday evening, and end between 6:30 and 7:00 on Sunday evening. It would be helpful if you could register early. Space at Camp Mechuwana is limited. If you are attending a Cursillo weekend at Camp Mechuwana you will need to bring comfortable clothes, bed linens or sleeping bag, towel, flashlight, and an open mind to the treasure that Jesus wants you to receive on your Cursillo weekend.
